Entity Episode Of Care Dimension

Description

A group of clinically related services for a patient for a discrete diagnostic condition from the onset of symptoms until treatment is complete. One episode only pertains to one patient, but one patient can be in multiple episodes at once. An episode will relate to at least one encounter, but could contain many encounters.

For example:
Physiotherapy treatment for back pain over 6 sessions. This is completed over 6 outpatient encounters.
