Entity Diagnosis

DescriptionA medical determination of disease or syndrome established by a practitioner. The focus is on the disease process and the physical, genetic, or environmental cause of that process. There are various types of diagnosis, for example, admitting, primary, etc. In some instances, there could be multiple diagnoses. There could also be additional attribution when the diagnosis code does not provide sufficient information for a billing system.
