Financial Class
| Description | Indicates the financial class (FC) assigned to an individual for the purpose of identifying sources of reimbursement. It can be different than that of the patient. When the FC of the guarantor is different than the FC of the patient, and the guarantor's coverage for that patient has been exhausted, the source of reimbursement falls back onto the FC of the patient. |
